1 Minute Walk to Beach

Originally constructed in the 1940’s for accommodation for coastal post war works, our cabin has bags of character, being one of around 50 post war cabins within a 5 minute stroll of the much rated Bacton beach.

The cabin has two bedrooms and a well equipped open plan kitchen and living space, plus shower and basin, toilets are a 30 second walk away. Outside there is a small deck area for relaxing and has parking outside for one vehicle and sleeps a maximum of four.

Dog friendly for one well behaved dog.

The Area

Situated within the quirky Coastal Chalet park, our chalet would once have been a tiny home. The park area provides plenty of green space for play and a path that leads directly to the golden sandy beach of Bacton, making this an ideal location for easy beach holiday.

  • The chalet has one double room and a second bedroom where two singles can be zipped to make a king-size.
  • The cabin has a small open plan kitchen/living area with a fridge, cooker and microwave plus cooking utensils and crockery.
  • There is a small sun decked sun terrace for BBQ and outdoor seating plus a lobby entrance for ditching anything sandy or beach gear and footwear.
  • There is a bathroom with a walk in shower and basin, however none of the chalets have mains sewerage, so there are several toilets within the park and your nearest is 30 seconds walk away.
  • There is no wifi onsite, this place really is for stepping back in time, switching off and relaxing.

There is a village shop at the entrance to the site, plus a really good fish and chip shop and Chinese within walking distance.

The nearest pub is the Poachers pocket which is located about 15 minutes walk along the beach.

Further afield near by Mundesley has some good places to eat and Cromer and Sheringham are both bustling picturesque North Norfolk coastal towns, while to the south Stalham and Wroxham the gateway to the famous Norfolk broads.
